Introducing Martini of the Month, supporting Cocktails For A Cause

In the spirit of the New Year (2023), Bar Louie launched its new Martini of the Month initiative, with even more Louie Love being spread than ever before.

Guests can cheer to a great cause with the ever-changing featured Martini of the Month. February kicked off the new programming with The Clover martini — uniquely made with Maker’s Mark®, Courvoisier VS®, agave, lemon, and orange. The feature for March was the iconic Diva, which holds the “most sold at Bar Louie” title of all time. Nearing into Spring, April featured the cool and refreshing EFFEN Good with a name that speaks for itself and May celebrated the known and loved Cinco de Mayo season with a NEW ‘tini, Rock & Rita.

With National Martini Day being in June, Bar Louie coined an inaugural celebration of Martini Month for the entire month of June. “Martinis are kind of our thing. Hell, it’s even in our logo,” they claimed during the campaign. Dating back to 1991 in Chicago, IL, the very first Bar Louie was built on a foundation of gin, vodka, olives, and a few lemon twists. Glasses were raised, drinks were poured, and word quickly got around that Bar Louie was THE martini destination.  You've heard the saying, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade... Well, we decided to make a martini, The Grand Lemon drop martini to be exact. September served up drop after drop! October’s Martini of the Month is one of our mainstays, the Louie’s Cosmo. You’ll Be Thankful for November’s Martinis of the Month: The Star and The Mean Bean!

The Star: greygoose, pineapple, vanilla, lime, sidecar of bubbles.

Mean Bean: smirnoff vanilla, kahlua, brown sugar espresso syrup, espresso.

Try them today!

As part of the new Martini of the Month program, Bar Louie is partnering with No Kid Hungry through the end of 2023. Bar Louie will donate $1 to No Kid Hungry for every rotating Martini of the Month sold – for up to $5,000 each month.

“We’re proud to announce our new Martini of the Month program benefitting an amazing campaign,” said Bar Louie CEO Brian Wright. “The Clover Martini is the perfect drink to start the initiative, with a wintery and elevated taste of both whiskey and cognac that gives a special twist on the classic martini. Bar Louie is honored to have raised nearly $500,000 over the last decade for No Kid Hungry, and there isn’t a more delicious way to give back. We hope everyone makes it in to try our featured martini each month.”

In addition to the Martini of the Month program, Bar Louie guests can donate additional funds and will have the option to round up their total tab to the nearest dollar at the end of their visit, whether visiting their favorite Bar Louie location or when ordering online at barlouie.com.

No Kid Hungry offers support through providing school meals, grants to food banks and community organizations, advocacy and awareness in legislation, and early childhood resources to new parents.
